Find the remedy for your every phase and connect with your inner goddess

The CBD industry has experienced an explosion in popularity over the past few years–and we’re not complaining! However, this means that the tapestry is changing, evolving, and growing, and consumers are constantly having to play catch-up.

You want high-quality CBD, and you want to know ✨exactly✨ what you’re putting in your body. As you should.  The rigorous testing process ensures that every single batch of products meets (and exceeds) Oregon and California compliance testing, upholding our high standards of quality and consistency. In fact, our testing facility was the first cannabis laboratory in the nation to be licensed and accredited by a state agency. “Third-party” testing means that the laboratories we use to test our products are totally separate organizations. In other words, they have no affiliation with our brand. We take this kind of stuff seriously around here.

Every batch that we produce is sent directly from our hemp farm to a lab, where it’s tested for pesticides, solvents, heavy metals, and potency. Knowing what’s in your product is important, which is why we make our product test reports readily accessible. And you don’t need a Ph.D. to read them, either. Here’s a quick rundown:

What's a Certificate of Analysis? What's a Batch Report

You’ve probably heard these terms thrown around a lot in the cannabis world. A third-party batch report is a non-biased document, from an unrelated + qualified lab, that shows exactly what’s in the product they were sent to test. A certificate of analysis (COA) is defined as “a document issued by Quality Assurance, confirming that a regulated product meets its product specification.” We provide these updated reports so that you can feel good about what you’re putting in your body. We build our products to be good for people, and gentle on the planet.

How to Read Our Third-Party Batch Reports

You might be pleasantly surprised to learn that it’s actually pretty straightforward. Here are some things to look for on a lab report:

CBD:

Seems obvious, right? Well, you might be surprised to learn that some companies sell CBD products that have a different amount of CBD in them than they claim. Actually, a recent study showed that about a quarter of all CBD products on the market contain significantly less CBD than their labels claimed.

A third-party lab report will show you the exact percentage of CBD present in the tested product. Heads up: sometimes CBD is listed as its scientific name, “cannabidiol.”

Pesticides, Herbicides, Growth Hormones, or Fertilizers:

Again, this might seem obvious, but you do NOT want to see any pesticides, herbicides, growth hormones, or fertilizers on a batch report. The best products will be 100% free of any of these harmful byproducts. 🙌

Other Cannabinoids:

You might find other cannabinoids (like CBN, CNC, CBG, and THC) on your batch report list. THC is federally legal in CBD products, as long as there is no more than 0.3% present.

THC helps illuminate some of the benefits of CBD, so when taken in tandem there’s supposed to be a synergistic effect. You’ll find a tiny bit of THC in all full-spectrum and broad-spectrum CBD products, but you won’t feel “high” like you would if you ingested a high amount of THC.
